It is amazing how fast time can fly. Thinking back to August last
year, how excited we all were about what was to come. I am not sure if
we could have guessed it would include as much success as we were able
to experience, and end with an OMHA Championship and a final tournament
win this past weekend.

We are unbelievably proud of our boys! The
2006 Belle River Jr. Canadians are heading to the OMHA Championships to fight for the Novice AE West Title.
After a tough battle with the Windsor Jr. Spitfires Novice AE, our boys were able to push for a 3-2 victory on Wednesday night, and take the series 3 games to 2.
The Jr. Canadiens now await for the winner of Tecumseh and Erie North Shore, which is set to conclude this weekend.
What a season this has been!

On behalf of the team, big thank you's go out to the Gaudet family for inviting us to participate in their Christmas Family Skate today at Belle River arena. The kids had a blast, I think so did the parents playing out there.
What a year this has shaped up to be so far. Very proud of the boys, and thank you all for your support going into the new year. Our in league record so far within Bluewater is 15-3-2, allowing us to continue holding on to 1st place for the time being. There is a levelling of the playing field however, with some of the teams surging forward in a very impressive way. Our total record is currently at 25-8-3 including 3 tournaments and a few exhibition games.

The 2006 Jr. Canadiens are heading into a big weekend after showing great spirit this past weekend .vs the Kent Cobras and Windsor Jr. Spitfires.
After falling behind 3-1, and then 4-3 with just 2.5 mins left in the game, the Jr. CDNS held their ground and kept back to tie the game up for the second time, ending in a 4-4 tie. What a great game by both teams.
