Big Weekend! Mid November Status
The 2006 Jr. Canadiens are heading into a big weekend after showing great spirit this past weekend .vs the Kent Cobras and Windsor Jr. Spitfires.
After falling behind 3-1, and then 4-3 with just 2.5 mins left in the game, the Jr. CDNS held their ground and kept back to tie the game up for the second time, ending in a 4-4 tie. What a great game by both teams.
Heading into the next game, .vs the 2nd place mighty Windsor Jr. Spitfires, these young men once again showed what they were made of with a solid win of 4-1. This now makes it a record of 2-2 vs Windsor, a team that handed the Jr. Canadiens their first two losses in the season in the Essex Early Bird Tournament back in October.
The weekend begins with this evening with their co-local rivals Belle River AE1, which should be a great game for both squads (5:30pm Lakeshore Rink A). Saturday at 3pm is next game, .vs Wallaceburg Lakers, also at Lakeshore Rink A.
