RUBBER ARMS SAVES THE DAY
Hockey is a fast game, with exciting thrills and sometimes dramatic spills. Both were evident this Sunday in a 1-0 win for the Rednecks. Serious injury was avoided when Coby Dunn went flying headfirst into the end boards on a hard play. He was taken off the ice on a stetcher, but thankful avoided serious injury.
The excitement was Eric Brannigan's rubber arm! On a deflection from a point shot, Brannigan stretched his arm a mile to grab the puck and prevent a go ahead goal in the first period. Later in the second frame Isaac Luff did it again with a hard wrist shot from just inside the hash marks.
