Obtaining AAA Permission to Skate Forms
Submitted By Marco Levesque on Monday, March 27, 2017
It is that bittersweet time of the year when one season ends, but the preparation for the next already begins.

For those of you that intend to have your player attend AAA tryouts with Sun County starting April 10th, you are required to have a PERMISSION TO SKATE form from your home centre (including all players that have already have played with Sun County).

The following is a copy of the instructions listed on our site under Registration/Permission to Skate (the link is http://brdmha.com/Pages/2510/Permission_to_Skate/)

Permission to Skate - Although we require your requests between now and April 3rd, the completed forms will NOT  be available until after APRIL 1st (see below for exact dates)

If you require a permission to skate (PTS) for AAA or Junior tryouts please follow the steps below.  Note: If the steps below are not followed, and you only send an email in, we will not be issuing the PTS.  We receive many request, and this is the only way of assuring we fulfill all requests.

For AAA Go to www.brdmha.com, go to registration tab in the top menu. This will take you to the Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) website.  Register your player for a permission to skate form (No payment necessary).

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you complete process to the end, and complete checkout.  Since the cost for a PTS is $0, you will check out using 'money order' and proceeding to the end of the process.  Please DO NOT register for the standard registration package ($600), unless and until you end up proceeding to AA tryouts.

Once complete, email following info to [email protected]:
Child'd (Player) Name
Previous Season's Team

All Permission to Skate Form requests are to be submitted by 7pm Monday April 3rd, which is one(1) week prior to Sun County Tryouts.

The completed forms will NOT be emailed this year.
They will be made available at the ATC, at the Belle River Minor Hockey Office, which is located at the far right end of The Rock.  They will be made available on the following days:
Wednesday April 5th: 6-8pm
Saturday April 8th: 10am-12pm

For Junior B/C  Follow above process but also add name of team or teams you will trying out for.  If you are born 1998 or earlier, you require nothing to attend tryouts as you are no longer of minor hockey age.
