Shutdown Status......
Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, January 18, 2021
Greetings,

I hope all are well, and healthy during the very difficult time.  Im sure I can speak for most that we are all missing being in the rinks, watching our kids play the great game of hockey.  At this time we would typically be starting to get ready for playoffs in house divisions and Well on our way in Local and provincial Playdowns.   Unfortunately that is not the case this year.  Keep a positive attitude and stay safe and we hopefully be able to return to the ice soon enough.

I would like to also keep you up to date as we have been getting some questions to our board members as to what is the plan for our BRDMHA players and families going forward.   Unfortunately at this time we do not have a definitive answer to these questions.   Our local health units, Facility managers, and the governing bodies have not made decision to this matter either at this time.

BRDMHA along with the other local minor hockey associations within the Windsor Essex Area have decided back in December it would make the most sense to wait it out until early February to make a decision as to the the plans for the balance of the season.  This would definitely give us a more better understanding of where the region would be at that time.

Please be patient and understanding as we move through these uneasy times and the decisions we need to make will be in the best interest and safety for all our members.

Paul Gray
President
