This past weekend the team travelled to Columbus, Ohio and participated in the Buckeye Classic.  Through their hard work, determined effort, and gritty team play, the boys were able to bring home a championship with a close 3-2 victory over a pesky team from Buffalo, New York.   More importantly, throughout the weekend the boys continued to gel and form a stronger bond that should pay dividends in the future. Our team is scheduled for our uniform fittings on Thursday, June 22nd from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Atlas Tube Centre through Belle River Source for Sports. If you cannot make this time, BRSFS will be at the ATC on Wednesday, June 21st from 4:30-8:30 pm and on Thursday, June 22nd from 4:30-6:30 pm. Please do not go to the store. Throughout the tryout process the evaluators and I have been hoping to find the right mix of 03/04 players whom are eager to grow as hockey players, as teammates, and as responsible members of our community. The process of forming a travel hockey team involves many people and is never an easy task. This year has been, and continues to be, especially difficult.  I commend all 33 players for trying out, and you have my deepest respect for your gritty, determined, and passionate participation.  The final roster will be posted on Sunday afternoon.
