Bantam Team 4, Bantam, 2016-2017 (Belle River District Minor Hockey Association)

As a team we did great in the total pledges, over $2300 dollars, great job players. We played a really good team in game #1. Then a couple good teams when we were short a few players for the last games. Overall I was impressed with the new things we saw, players playing new positions very well. Players playing position hockey and getting good results. As mentioned this is how we want to proceed, making steady improvements as the season goes on. We are doing just fine...wait and see how we do in the playoffs and the final tournament. Great Job team.

Every player on the team contributes to the team as a whole. Every opportunity the player has to skate and handle the puck helps them and the team get better. We are trying to focus practice drills to address things we see during our games. Sometimes you simply have more pressing plans we know. But, from time to time we realize it might be tough getting your son to our practice / game.   If you have an issue getting your son to the rink please give us coaches the heads-up, we will try to help. Just a reminder to everyone, this tournament is approaching fast. Players take an hour out of your weekend to canvass your neighborhood for pledges. This is such a good cause that people are usually happy to pledge you. The more we get in pledges the more points we get in addition to our game(s) result points. I find it easier to only get pledged by people who give you the money on the spot. It is sometimes difficult to keep going back to a home in hopes someone it there and have the money they had pledged.
