BELLE RIVER JR CANADIENS U14A CROWNED INTERNATIONAL SILVER STICK CHAMPIONS
The Belle River Jr Canadiens U14A turned a challenging start into a championship finish at the 2025/26 International Silver Stick Tournament.
The tournament began with adversity, as the team faced a 7-hour drive to Newmarket through tough winter driving conditions. That challenge carried into Game 1, where the Jr Canadiens fell 5–3 to Centre Wellington. Instead of dwelling on the loss, the group responded exactly how champions do.
Belle River bounced back in impressive fashion, winning all three round-robin games to punch their ticket forward. One of the most exciting moments came against the Southwest Admirals, where the Canadiens scored the go-ahead goal with just four minutes remaining, securing a hard-fought 3–2 victory.

From a tough opening loss to lifting the banner, the Belle River Jr Canadiens U14A showed resilience, heart, and championship character.
