The Fall Colours tournament will be used as a fundraiser for Rick Ciglie. Rick Cigile was an active youth hockey coach for 2 decades, and worked full time as a Patrol Deputy Officer with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department in suburban Detroit for 24 years before being injured while vacationing with his family in Destin, FL. Rick is now a quadriplegic, with an incomplete spinal cord injury.
All three of Rick’s sons played hockey with the Little Caesars youth hockey league. Rick was very successful as a coach, taking teams on to win the Little Caesars championship four times. Many of the youth he coached went on to play in the NCAA Division 1 & 3, the ACHA Division 1, the OHL, and the Canadian Jr. A-II & B.
This is a 4 game guarantee. Divisions of 6 and 8 teams will have semi-finals and the teams participating in the final will play 5 games. With divisions of 5 teams the teams participating in the final will also play 5 games.
