Three Rivers Cup CHAMPIONS
The Belle River Jr. Canadiens Atom Minors won the Three Rivers hockey tournament on Sunday, November 10, 2013. The team started out strong on Friday with a 4-0 Win and a shutout for B. Dalrymple. Saturday Morning was another strong game and another strong 5-0 win and stutout for Z. Dubeault. Saturday night brought another exciting game against a very strong team, but the Canadiens never gave up. This game was going to test these young Canadiens and their fans. First period was a challenge as the Cleveland Tigers got on the board first. The Canadiens returned the favor and quickly scored to even up the score. During the next two periods these young hockey players played their hearts out to end the game in a 2-2 tie.

Sunday Morning brought a rematch of The Belle River Jr. Canadiens and the Cleveland Heights Tigers. The Belle River boys started this game full of speed and good passing. Both teams played a great game and Belle River came out on top winning the Championship game 3-2. Way to go Belle River! Aidan Alexander was named the Tournament MVP and the team brought home the GOLD. Congratulations – Players, Coaches, Parents and families!
